On Saturday, June 2, 2018, The Store at LBJ, located inside the LBJ Presidential Library, hosted author Tommy Blackwell for a signing of his new book, Tales of Travis County.
Blackwell was a sworn deputy sheriff with the Travis County Sheriff's Office for 25 years. He worked in patrol, training, SWAT, and administration. Tales of Travis County chronicles some of his experiences while on the job.
