The Work of Naomi Savage

Perception & Process: The Work of Naomi Savage is now open in the fourth-floor temporary gallery. You've seen Naomi Savage's Wall of Portraits just below the glass windows featuring our archival boxes. The mural is a defining piece of the LBJ Library. Throughout her career, Savage helped redefine modern photography as an art form by embracing novel techniques of processing and printing the images she captured.  Her unique style includes innovative uses of color, light, and materials. Join us for a retrospective of Savage's works that highlight the creative techniques she used, including her metal photo-engravings that are so much a part of the LBJ Library.
