President Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act on August 6, 1965. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this historic law, the LBJ Presidential Library is offering free admission all day and co-hosting a voter registration drive with the Travis County Tax Office. The drive is from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Library.
