Public meeting of the Public Interest Declassification Board

On Thursday, January 26, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., the Public Interest Declassification Board (PIDB) will host its first public meeting of 2023 at the LBJ Presidential Library. The meeting will focus on the critical need for modernization of the federal system for classification and declassification. PIDB members will discuss challenges that electronic government records pose for declassification and government transparency, review the PIDB's initiatives over the past year, and plan for the year ahead.

The PIDB public meeting will be held in the 10th floor Atrium of the LBJ Presidential Library. Free parking will be available in the LBJ Library visitors lot (#38) located at 2313 Red River Street. Overflow parking can be found in lot #40 located at the southwest corner of Red River and Dean Keeton.

All bags are subject to inspection upon entry of the LBJ Library. Learn more about our guidelines here.

Tickets are available to attend either in person, or virtually through a live-streaming link that will be distributed to ticket holders prior to the event.
