On Wednesday, May 29, the Future Forum hosted its annual panel discussion on Women in Leadership, a series which has explored a variety of topics including building diverse and inclusive teams; the competing professional and personal demands women may face; women in government, featuring a conversation with Madeleine Albright; and–most recently—the historic mobilization of women in politics the last election cycle.

The 2019 Women in Leadership: The Next Generation of Changemakers event featured leaders who saw the need for change and stepped up to make a difference for women in the community. The panel included:

  • Lamanda Ballard, Founder and Executive Director of Flo Code
  • Ke'Yonna Hall, Curriculum Development and Training Coordinator for Deeds Not Words
  • Jane Claire Hervey, Executive Director and Founder of BossBabes
  • ModeratorMegan Creydt, Digital Managing Editor, Texas Monthly

The conversation was moderated by Megan Creydt, digital managing editor at Texas Monthly.
