Texas remains one of the most politically, culturally, and financially influential places in the world. But as the media landscape has shifted with the rise of social media influencers and podcasters, a series of questions has emerged about what defines a journalist, why people are increasingly turning to non-traditional media for their news, how journalism schools and traditional media are keeping pace, and — perhaps most importantly — how these factors are shaping the way Texas is covered journalistically.

Location and Parking
The conversation will be hosted in the 10th floor Atrium of the LBJ Presidential Library. Free parking will be available at the LBJ Library visitors’ lot located at 2313 Red River Street.
