With shifting federal regulations on hemp products, Texas’s cannabis industry has exploded in recent years—setting the stage for a recent legislative battle between the governor and lieutenant governor over regulation versus prohibition. With the session over and an executive order now signed, the industry is at an inflection point. What will this new legal landscape mean for the future of cannabis in Texas? This conversation will explore the legal and economic impacts, as well as those to health and consumer safety.
