Evaluating the Affordable Care Act: 15 Years Later

In March 2010, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law, making sweeping changes to the US healthcare system. As many as 45 million people obtained health coverage through both the marketplace and Medicaid expansion since then.

 

The LBJ Future Forum will take an honest and critical look 15 years later, exploring the impact the ACA has had on people, both providers and patients, and the healthcare system as a whole.

  • Stacey Pogue, Senior Research Fellow at the Center on Health Insurance Reforms at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy
  • Dr. Patrick Lee, President and CEO, Central Health
  • Moderator: Dr. Pritesh Gandhi, President and Founder, Effect Health 

 

Location and Parking: The conversation will be hosted in the 10th-floor Atrium of the LBJ Presidential Library. Free parking will be available at the LBJ Library visitors’ lot located at 2313 Red River Street. Registration Advance registration is requested.
