State of Austin Music

The music scene in Austin made our city stand out from the rest—home to greats like Austin City Limits, the longest-running music TV series in the world, and the iconic blues venue Antone’s, which turned 50 this year. As Austin continued to grow, the city was challenged by how to maintain a creative spirit and remain a welcoming and supportive place for artists. We reflected on this changing landscape and its meaning for our landmark venues, local businesses, and musicians in this ever-changing industry.

Special thanks to the Downtown Austin Alliance for their generous sponsorship.
