Friends First Look: Member Reception

On Wednesday, August 27, we celebrated President Lyndon B. Johnson's birthday with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes evening. The program offered a first look into what lay ahead—and a chance to connect with the people who made it all happen.

Guests heard from Mark K. Updegrove about the upcoming exhibit renovation and visited with staff to learn about programming and K-12 education initiatives, see special items from the collections, and discover what was next for the LBJ Library.

Friends of the LBJ Library members at the Sustaining level and above were invited to attend. Space was limited, and registration secured a place.
