Y'all Means ALL

As a center for intellectual activity and community leadership, the Johnson Presidential Library is excited to welcome classroom and community educators to explore the history of LGBTQIA+ civil rights and equip them with the tools to create a more equitable and accepting environment for all learners. Expanding on President Johnson’s legacy of civil rights, we seek to help participants meet the needs of all students and address the challenges found in the education system.

Join us on June 24, 2022 for a full day in-person workshop exploring the history of LGBTQIA+ civil rights and learning how to support students with understanding and equity through an active workshop experience.

Participants will learn about the continuing struggle for equality through the lens of sexual identity and work with featured speaker Shane Whalley to practice cultural humility and make your educational space one of support and understanding.
