Announcing a new virtual program from the LBJ Library Education Department, 60-Minute Civics. And it's exactly what you think: 60 minutes of civic learning to enhance your instructional space and/or personal life!
This program will launch with 3 different (and scaffolded) webinars on The Revolutionary Ideas Throughout U.S. History. All webinars will take place 6:30pm-7:30pm CST in October - just in time for National Civics Day!
- October 13th: Revolutionary Ideals throughout U.S. History
- October 20th: The Declaration of Sentiments- Then & Now
- October 27th: "How Do You Measure Freedom?": Freedom Schools
The next 60-Minute Civics program will be hosted in Spring 2027.
1 hour of continuing education credit will be granted for each participant in attendance per program.
This program is free, but registration is required to receive the digital link and CEU certificate.
