The LBJ Presidential Library will be offering free admission to all visitors on Presidents Day—Monday, Feb. 17, 2020.

At the library, visitors will experience the life and times of Lyndon B. Johnson, one of our nation's most fascinating presidents, and the era of his administration—the turbulent 1960s.

Location & Hours
The library is on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin and located at 2313 Red River St. Our hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Free parking is available in the library's visitor lot (#38), entrance located right off Red River Street and flanked by LBJ banners.

Note: As of early December 2019, Red River Street, from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Clyde Littlefield Drive, is closed. While direct access to the library has not been affected (do not be deterred by the "Local Traffic Only" signage), we recommend accessing Red River Street coming from either Manor Road, located south of the library, or from Dean Keeton Street, located north of the library.
