The People and Places Keeping Austin Weird

The City of Austin and its identity have evolved rapidly over the past 20 years, and the rate of growth brings challenges that implicate our collective culture. Has Austin retained its "weird" slacker spirit amidst surging wealth? Is Keep Austin Weird just a marketable commodity and no longer reflective of our community values? This panel will explore how modern Austin still manifests as an inclusive home for cowboys, hippies, artists, and entrepreneurs alike.
