Future Forum | Jun, 10 2025 6:30PM - 8:00PM

Hosted by the LBJ Future Forum and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Water is becoming the most precious resource in Texas — and scientific projections suggest that trend will only strengthen in the approaching decades. What does that mean for residents in Central Texas and beyond? How is water scarcity shaping the state’s most important industries, like farming, ranching, and oil and gas?
This conversation will explore the future of Texas water from three specific angles: the implications of this growing issue, conservation efforts being made to address it, and the public-private partnerships fueling a new frontier of innovation.
