Explore Austin-area museums -- for free!

The 21st Annual Austin Museum Day is a free celebration of art, culture, history, music, nature, and science. More than 43 museums in central Texas, including the LBJ Presidential Library, will welcome visitors with special programming for visitors of all ages.

At the library, it’s Space Day! The Johnson Space Center is joining us to celebrate the 60th anniversary of NASA and the 50th anniversaries of Apollo 7 and Apollo 8. Visit the library to touch a moon rock, explore space models, and engage in STEM activities in NASA’s very own exploration trailer.
