On Tuesday, October 28 at 6:30 p.m., the Future Forum's Public Policy Cluster will meet to discuss America: Melting Pot or Salad Bowl?
How does race, class, and socioeconomic background affect your individual perspectives? How does this affect the way you engage and interpret the world? Do you think this influences what you see and hear in the news and on social media? How does this influence your opinion in particular - and public opinion in general -- on what has happened in Ferguson, what's happening with immigrant/refugee children along the border, and on when we should go to war?

What are the Future Forum clusters? In addition to our larger events, the Future Forum has three smaller groups, called Clusters, that meet every few months to discuss books, film, or policy questions of interest. Each group is managed by a volunteer lead, who emails members who have expressed an interest in upcoming activities for that cluster.
