Famed journalist and author Bob Woodward and former Nixon White House aide Alexander Butterfield appeared together at the LBJ Presidential Library on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. They discussed Woodward's recent book, The Last of the President's Men, which details the incredible story of Alexander Butterfield, who served as deputy to White House Chief of Staff H. R. Haldeman and who revealed the secret White House taping system that led to President Nixon’s resignation.

LBJ Library Director Mark Updegrove moderated the conversation. The event was co-hosted with the Harry Ransom Center, who holds the Watergate papers of Woodward and Carl Bernstein.

Prior to the event, The Store at LBJ hosted Woodward for a book signing of The Last of the President's Men.
