Statement from Luci Baines Johnson:

The world may remember Nancy Reagan as her husband's mainstay during the times of national triumph and tragedy. But our family will always be touched to tears by her extraordinary kindness to us that transcended politics.

Decades after daddy's death she included us in the dedication of the Reagan Library and came half way across the country in her late 80's just to attend mother's funeral.

Our hearts go out to her grieving family and friends. We mourn her loss and join a grateful nation for her service to our country.

Mrs. Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, next to President Reagan.

If you would like to send the Reagan family your condolences, we invite you to sign a book of remembrances currently on display in the lobby of the LBJ Library. The book will be delivered to the Reagan Library.

Rest in peace, Mrs. Reagan.
