LBJ’s Birthday :: August 27, 2010

Join us at the LBJ Library & Museum as we celebrate LBJ’s 102nd birthday! Cake and refreshments will be served in the Great Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (or until we run out of cake!).

Austin Museum Day :: September 19, 2010

To celebrate the current exhibit CRONKITE: Eyewitness to a Century, the LBJ Library will host special activities from 1-3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, September 19. Enjoy live music by the Austin band “WhoDo” featuring the teenage fiddle phenom, Ruby Jane Smith.

On This Day…

On this day in 1964, President Johnson issued a Statement Upon the Successful Flight of Ranger VII.

On this day in 1968, President Johnson signed the Juvenile Delinquency Prevention and Control Act of 1968.
