New Cultural Fans Campaign features Blanton Museum of Art,
Harry Ransom Center, and LBJ Presidential Library
(AUSTIN, TX) - Football fans sitting in Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium look to the south end zone jumbotron for information, replays, scores, and statistics. Now, fans will experience advertisements that transport them from the stadium to three nearby cultural institutions on The University of Texas at Austin campus: the Blanton Museum of Art, Harry Ransom Center, and LBJ Presidential Library.
In each ad, viewers are carried from the stadium on a journey across campus, traveling inside the front doors, and gaining a glimpse of the treasures inside. The message is simple - you will be inspired, motivated, and surprised. The ads are a stunning reminder of the incomparable destinations at UT Austin.

Roy Spence, a University of Texas at Austin Distinguished Alumnus and co-founder of Austin's GSD&M and The Purpose Institute, helped spearhead the creative effort that brought the campaign to life. He notes, "UT is renowned for its academics, athletics, and vibrant pace of life. We also wanted to shine a light on the rich culture that makes UT so extraordinary: its arts and their historical positive impact on society. Within walking distance to the football stadium, UT's cultural and history-making treasures are a special part of the campus and its legacy. This was an opportunity to showcase those in a big way to both students on campus and nationally to our football fans."
This fall, the Longhorn Network will air the ads as part of its ongoing commitment to showcase the dynamic academic and cultural resources found on the UT Austin campus.
About the Blanton Museum of Art
Founded in 1963, the Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin has the largest and most comprehensive collection of art in central Texas, encompassing nearly 18,000 objects. The Blanton is recognized for its modern and contemporary American and Latin American art, Italian Renaissance and Baroque paintings, and encyclopedic collection of prints and drawings.
The museum is located at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Congress Avenue and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10–5, Saturday from 11–5, and Sunday from 1–5. Thursdays are free admission days and every third Thursday the museum is open until 9 p.m.
