What: Jeopardy! Clue Crew tapes items at the Library to be featured as future clues for the quiz show.
When: Thursday, February 22, 2007 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
(Austin) - And the category is: presidential libraries. Soon, contestants and viewers of Jeopardy! will be matching wits about items found in this country's presidential libraries " some are historic, some are unusual, all are seldom-seen fascinating treasures.
On Thursday, Feb. 22nd, Jeopardy! Clue Crew members, Jon Cannon and Kelly Miyahara, will be taping items at the LBJ Library that will become creative and interactive visual clues for a future show. LBJ staff scoured the Library's collections in search of pieces that will be featured. Beginning at 8:30 that morning, Jon and Kelly will tape a segment about each item, transforming it into a clue used in the unique Jeopardy! question and answer format.
We are thrilled that the Clue Crew from Jeopardy! will be showcasing some of the most interesting objects from the Library's collections, says Betty Sue Flowers, Director of the Library. This will provide a new opportunity for the public to see and understand the wealth of information not only at the LBJ Library but at all presidential libraries.
Please join us for the taping. Only rules are: no photographs or videotaping during the actual segment taping, and THE CLUES ARE SECRET. The Library will be open to the public during the taping.
Hosted by Alex Trebek, Jeopardy! is now in its 23rd season and attracts nearly 37 million viewers a week.
