Interactive Daily Diary

This interactive web exhibit is based on President Johnson's Daily Diary, which was a record of his daily activities kept by the White House secretarial staff. The additional rich content consists of selected primary sources from the archives of the LBJ Library.

Graduate students from the University of Texas at Austin School of Information worked with the LBJ Library Education Department, in consultation with the archives, to create this exhibit. The team selected individual dates from the Daily Diary. To see the digitized Daily Diary collection in its entirety, click here: http://www.lbjlibrary.org/collections/daily-diary.html.  This exhibit is a work in progress. Future plans include additional dates with enhanced content.
