Lady Bird's Home Movies

In the late 1930s, LBJ gave Lady Bird Johnson a movie camera, the perfect gift for a woman with college degrees in journalism and history. Lady Bird documented the Johnson family and their political life throughout the years, providing an intimate first-person perspective on history. A Navy film production crew enhanced nearly nine hours of home movie footage with narration by Lady Bird and a musical score.
