In honor of Black History Month, the LBJ Library and HBO Films present the Texas premiere of the film Thurgood, starring Laurence Fishburne as Thurgood Marshall, the civil rights pioneer appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Lyndon Johnson. Special guests: John Marshall, son of Thurgood Marshall, and George Stevens, Jr., who wrote the play Thurgood. Stevens is an award-winning writer, director and producer.
