Bob Hope: American Patriot: March 6, 2004-April 25, 2004

His career ranged from Vaudeville and Broadway to television and the silver screen, but Bob Hope's greatest legacy may have been the impact he made on U.S. troops deployed throughout the world.

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum is proud to showcase that legacy in the exhibit Bob Hope: American Patriot, which runs from March 6th to April 25th.

This exhibit, which celebrates Bob Hope's remarkable life, showcases his work during World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, and the Gulf War. Also on display are highlights of his career and friendship with the last eleven presidents.

Other items on display include priceless photographs spanning five decades of service to the nation; programs and scripts from various USO Camp Shows, radio and television; prestigious awards and medals and signature pieces used by Mr. Hope to entertain U.S. troops.
