In founding the Library, Lyndon Johnson decided that he wanted anyone to be able to come here, regardless of the ability to pay. As a result, the LBJ Library and Museum is the only Presidential Library that does not charge admission and must rely on generous donations made by people like you.

Membership contributions from the Friends have helped make the Library a center of intellectual activity and community leadership by providing support for the symposia and conferences, special exhibitions in the Museum, research grants-in-aid for scholars, and a series of Evening With programs that bring distinguished and prominent speakers to the Library each year. Your financial support and participation are crucial as we continue to accomplish our mission.
