Dear Friends,
March will be a big and busy month for the
LBJ Library. Tomorrow (March 4) we will
feature Mark Halperin and John Heilemann,
authors of the best-selling book
Game Change, an insider's account to
the historic presidential election of 2008.
Later in the month, on March 24, former Chief
of Staff, Secretary of the Treasury, and
Secretary of State James Baker will be on
hand to share his sage views on U.S. politics
and domestic and world affairs. Tickets
for this program are still available for our
Friends members, but if you don't want to
miss it I urge you to RSVP now. More details
for both March events can be found below.
We also have some big events coming up in
April and May. I'll be in touch shortly to
let you know about what we'll be featuring
then. As always, I look forward to seeing you.
All best,
Mark K. Updegrove
Director
