This week's artifact is a painting done by Vincenzo Fodera, and gifted to the President in 1966.  It shows soldiers from the State of Georgia fighting in Vietnam. (1970.3.280)  Rodney M. Davis was a Marine from Macon, Georgia who fought in Vietnam.  For his heroic actions, he posthumously received the Medal of Honor.
