On Wednesday, May 29, the Future Forum is hosting its annual panel discussion on Women in Leadership, a series which has explored a variety of topics including building diverse and inclusive teams; the competing professional and personal demands women may face; women in government, featuring a conversation with Madeleine Albright; and–most recently—the historic mobilization of women in politics the last election cycle.

The 2019 Women in Leadership: The Next Generation of Changemakers event will feature leaders who saw the need for change and stepped up to make a difference for women in the community. Each will share their motivation, challenges, and successes.

The panel includes:

  • Lamanda Ballard, Founder and Executive Director of Flo Code
  • Ke'Yonna Hall, Curriculum Development and Training Coordinator for Deeds Not Words
  • Jane Claire Hervey, Executive Director and Founder of BossBabes
  • Muna Hussaini, Senior Manager, DevOps Transformation, PayPal

The panel will be moderated by Megan Creydt, digital managing editor at Texas Monthly. Following the conversation, attendees are encouraged to stay and connect over light bites and beverages.
