The State Dinner Gala

Dec 01, 2012

The LBJ Foundation gala, held on December 1st at the LBJ Presidential Library provided a preview of the newly renovated permanent exhibit and was a nod to the elegance and class of a White House State Dinner in the 60’s. More than 450 guests dressed in tuxedos and long gowns arrived to walk the aqua carpet into the Library for cocktails followed by a seated dinner on the Plaza. The menu, developed by local chef David Bull, was inspired by Johnson-era state dinners. Desserts and coffee were served in the Library and in the dance lounge, where Sha’on and the Girls provided ‘60’s Motown tunes well into the night.

Invitations to the gala earned Arsenal Advertising a gold ADDY in the "advertising for the arts and science" category. read more
