Friends of the LBJ Library members are invited to join us for an evening with Bill Bradley, who will be presenting his one-man performance, Moving Forward.

About our Speaker
Senator William W. Bradley currently serves as host of an award-winning Sirius Satellite Radio program, American Voices, and as managing director of Allen & Company LLC. Previously, he acted as chief outside advisor to McKinsey & Company’s nonprofit practice and was a senior advisor and vice chairman of the International Council of JP Morgan & Co., Inc. Bradley represented the state of New Jersey in the U.S. Senate for 18 years, from 1979 to 1997. He won an Olympic gold medalist in 1964 and played with the New York Knicks from 1967 to 1977, winning two NBA championships.

About the Presentation
Moving Forward is Bill Bradley's American journey. From a small town in Missouri on the banks of the Mississippi River to Princeton and on to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, followed by 10 years in the NBA, 18 years in the U.S. Senate and, in 2000, a run for president of the United States, this autobiographical piece deals with Bradley's three passions: basketball, politics, and self-discovery. It shares insights about all three as well as life generally, while being funny and deeply moving. It speaks to each of us as human beings and Americans. Moving Forward is an intimate, humorous, thought-provoking call to action.

To RSVP
We are not currently accepting reservations. Friends members at the Individual and above level will receive an email invitation about four weeks in advance and may make a reservation at that time.
