The LBJ School of Public Affairs and the LBJ Foundation invite you to a public forum about the recent changes to Austin's public order ordinances and the city's plan to move forward with solutions for individuals experiencing homelessness. The forum is free and open to the public.

Panelists include:

  • Matthew Mollica, Executive Director, ECHO
  • Moderator: Steven Pedigo, Professor of Practice, LBJ School of Public Affairs, The University of Texas at Austin; Director of the LBJ Urban Lab

Participate in the Conversation
The forum encourages questions from the public. You may send in questions ahead of time to [email protected] or submit them in-person in the lobby of the auditorium the evening of. Due to time restraints, all questions cannot be answered, however, every effort will be made to cover a variety of questions from varying constituencies.

You may also follow the conversation online using the hashtag #ATXHomelessForum.

Please register online if you plan to attend. Two ticket limit per registration. Registration does not guarantee admission. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5 p.m. Forum begins at 6 p.m.

Location and Parking
The LBJ Auditorium is located on the lower level of the LBJ complex at 2313 Red River St. Access to the auditorium will be through the lobby of the LBJ School of Public Affairs or through the south auditorium doors by the LBJ Fountain.

Free parking will be available in lot #38, entrance located directly off Red River Street and flanked by LBJ banners.
