For several years, the LBJ Library has hosted a summer symposium for high school teachers. Each symposium highlights a theme touched by 20th century United States Presidents. Past topics have been "20th Century Conflicts in U.S. History," "It’s a Matter of Civil Rights," and "New Perspectives on the Middle East: Franklin Roosevelt—George W. Bush." Texas teachers receive continuing education credit hours for attendance.
Our next symposium is planned for the summer of 2014. Check our education website each spring for the latest updates.
