"A New Day For LBJ" Workshop
On June 24-25, 2014, we will be offering a new workshop to introduce teachers to the exhibit spaces at the LBJ Library. This two-day workshop will devote a significant amount of time each of the three exhibit floors of the museum. In addition to exploring the museum, you will learn how to use primary sources in your classroom, pre- and post-visit activities, and get an in-depth look at some prominent topics covered in the exhibits. Teachers will be provided with documents, audio visual assets, and other resources to use in the classroom.
This workshop is free, but seats are limited. Registration can be found here. If you must cancel, please do so in advance to allow for waitlisted participants to be able to attend. Texas teachers wishing to receive CEU credits may gain up to 12 hours.
